San Francisco!

Back in Houston today and missing Califor-ni-a bigtime. What a beautiful and interesting city. We made the most of the few days we had there, especially with a 7 month old in tow. Although, we were in bed by about 8pm every night - the time change kicked our wimpy butts!

Roberto did really well on the plane ride both ways, although he preferred 1st class. Rick got an upgrade for the return flight and I sat up there with Roberto. What a way to travel...

We went to the California Academy of Sciences, in Golden Gate Park.

We took every form of public transportation the city provides - it's a very environmentally conscious town (no surprise)...discounts on admissions to places when you take public transit, recycling everywhere, very little paper given out.

We checked out the Ferry Bldg, home of the world famous farmer's market and Peet's Coffee, among other things.

Very cool architecture in San Francisco...lots of rounded corners...

Chinatown!

We had a mediocre meal at this place...

...but we didn't mind.

We took a (long slow jerky) trolley ride to the warf, with all the other tourists. That was fun.

And then wait on the F Line to take us back to our hotel...
